LAXMAN JHULLA

One of the most recognisable hanging bridges over the revered Ganga is called Lakshman Jhula. Two significant Rishikesh settlements are connected by the jhula. The village of Jonk in Pauri Garhwal and the village of Tapovan in Tehri Garhwal are connected by it.

The distance of Laxmanjula is 15 km from Shyampur and if we go by bike then we take about 30 minutes to reach Laxmanjula.

One of the main tourist destinations in Rishikesh's tourism corridor is the bridge, which now towers over the Ganga.

From July 12th, 2019, the Lakshman Jhula will no longer be used for communication due to safety concerns.

One more bridge has been constructed next to the Lakshman Jhula as a minor tourist attraction in order to preserve this famous tourist destination.


RAM JHULLA

On the Ganga River near Rishikesh, there is a bridge called Ram Jhula made of iron. Swargashram and Muni Ki Reti are connected by Ram Jhula. Despite being a pedestrian bridge, motorcycles are also driven on it.

One of Rishikesh's two most well-known tourist destinations is Ram Jhula (another is Lakshman Jhula). Near the Ram Jhula are most of the well-known ashrams. Near the Ram Jhula are Sivananda Ashram, Parmarth Niketan, Gita Bhawan, Swargashram, Omkarnanda, Yog Niketan, and numerous other ashrams. NEELKANTH MAHADEV MANDIR

A Hindu temple called Neelkanth Mahadev is devoted to Lord Shiva's aspect of Nilkanth. The temple is located in the Pauri Garhwal area of Uttarakhand, India, 29 kilometres away from Rishikesh. The Dravidian style of temple architecture has had a significant influence on the temple design. The temple, which honours Lord Shiva, is a well-known Hindu pilgrimage destination. It is close to the Nar-Narayan mountain ranges and is surrounded by thick forests. It is situated at the junction of the Pankaja and Madhumati rivers and is encircled by the Manikoot, Brahmakoot, and Vishnukoot valleys.

The distance of ramjulla is 29 km from Shyampur and if we go by bike then we take about 1 hour 20 minutes to reach ramjulla.

TRIVENI GHAT

:- Triveni Ghat is a fearful Ghat and bathing location on the right bank of the River Ganges in Rishikesh, about 10 kilometres from shyampur.

At the meeting of the three holy rivers, Yamuna, Ganga, and Saraswati, is Triveni Ghat. Before visiting the well-known temples of Rishikesh, many visitors come here to take a spiritual bath at Triveni Ghat. It is a common misconception that everyone who bathes in Triveni Ghat will be saved and be absolved of all their sins.

The evening aarti, also known as the Maha Aarti, is performed daily from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. It is one of Rishikesh's most well-known and well-attended traditions. The Maha Aarti is celebrated by ringing rhythmic bells and beating electric drums while people recite bhajans in honour of the Lord. The melodic and hypnotising prayers delivered to the Lord help you experience his energy and establish a connection with him.


PARMARTH NIKETAN

A wonderful spiritual retreat, Parmarth Niketan is situated on the revered banks of Mother Ganga in the verdant Himalayas. It is the biggest ashram in Rishikesh and offers a clean, pure, and religious atmosphere as well as an abundance of lovely gardens to the hundreds of pilgrims that go there from all over the world. BUNGEE JUMPING

Jumping Heights, a location in Mohanchatti, is the greatest place to go bungee jumping in Rishikesh. The owners are former army officers, and the jump instructors are from New Zealand, known as the world's adventure capital. The 83-meter-high Jumpin Heights in Rishikesh offers the highest bungee leaping in all of India. On all days excluding Tuesdays, Jumpin' Heights is open. Additionally, these are regarded as among of India's top locations for bungee jumping.

The distance of Jumping Heights (Bungee Jumping) is 31 km from Shyampur and if we go by bike then we take about 1 hour 8 minutes to reach Jumping Heights (Bungee Jumping).

The spiritual city of Rishikesh is close to the highest bungee jumping location in India. From the same location, visitors can participate in other adventure activities including the Giant Swing and Flying Fox.


GEETA BHAWAN

The Geeta Bhawan, also known as the Guru Shri Ram Sukh Daasji, is a huge and wide edifice that is situated on the banks of the Ganga in Swargashram near Rishikesh, at the foot of the powerful Himalayas. Since it contains the Gita, which stands for the Hindu Vedas and epics, the Ashram is known as a significant institution that protects Hindu literature. Many people come to the Geeta Bhawan every year to meditate, take a bath in the Ganges, and listen to lectures.

The distance of Geeta bhawan is 13 km from Shyampur and if we go by bike then we take about 22 minutes to reach Geeta bhawan.

Additionally, Gita Bhawan Rishikesh has a Laxmi Narayan Temple, a Book Shop (all publications are printed by Gita Press), a Cloth Store, an Ayurvedic Medicine Shop (all medications are produced by Gita Bhawan Ayurved Sansthan), and a sizable Satsang area. SHIVPURI

Shivpuri, a little village 16 kilometres from Rishikesh and a well-known river rafting location, is tucked away in the picture-perfect setting of the Shivalik hills. Due to its river rafting on the holy Ganga and several fantastic campsites, this little but stunning community has become well known for its adventure tourism. This village's main draw is the Ganga River, where water adventure sports like rafting and kayaking are practised.
